So, you can have experience in multiple industries.
Joining straight from college is great, as lots of learning, online resources, and training classes are available.
Management is inclined to promote leads and above. There is too much politics within projects, which means only those who participate in it get promoted and receive salary raises. Good work is not recognized due to the same reason. The company is great for senior management and new joiners. The middle layer, however, is unheard.
Having an eye for good work is needed to retain good people in an organization. Else, people are going to move out, and in the long run, it's not going to be a great place to work.
