Management is excruciatingly difficult to deal with. I have been voicing my issues to management regarding access to work environments and communication channels since day one. Now it's more than half a year, and I am still chasing them for access. I have not been able to perform my work accordingly due to these blockers, and I have addressed them to management multiple times, but they are always "too busy" for me. In the end, it resulted in my "poor performance".
They also resort to blanket statements that they will address to the entire department, just so that in the event anyone makes any mistakes, they have a reason to penalize them, be it with low performance reviews or put on PIP, or worse.
Be more reasonable and learn how to take accountability for your own wrongdoings before pointing downstream.
