Pros

Great work environment. Lots of training opportunities. Has a very good health card benefit. Flexi time (depending on project).

Cons
  • Very low salary, especially for homegrown talents. Talents who come from outside are paid double or triple the homegrown employees, which is very unfair.

  • New performance achievement outcomes depend on leads and managers who might not even know you at all. So, there's a high risk of people getting promoted being those they only know (it happens most of the time, believe me).

  • 10 hours of work (other companies only have 8 or 9 hours).

  • Everyday overtime without pay.

  • Stressful environment. Newbies are forced to act like experts and face clients even when they are not experts at all. Management will force you to deal with it, or you will get low ratings.

  • Poor compensation packages.

  • Less opportunity to grow (after performance achievement has been implemented).

  • Poor internet speed and machine performance are bad.

  • Unused SL and VL are not carried over nor convertible to cash.

Advice to Management

It's time to show concern, especially for homegrown talents, by giving fair compensations and benefits. Imagine getting promoted but only having a 10% increase in base pay. Is that cool? No, it's a joke. (This is my own experience: I got promoted only to find that I only received a 10% increase on my salary, which is a joke.) So, if you care for your employees, it's time to have better compensation and benefits, especially on salaries.
