Pros

Great open and relaxed work environment, with multiple ERGs for minority groups and others.

Often allowed flexible work arrangements, such as working from home or a 4-day work week. This depends on your project assignment.

The benefits are great, but the PTO accrual is much lower for new joiners than for more tenured employees.

Work-life balance is a big deal here, though you will have times where there is no time for life.

Cons

It can be very difficult to move upwards in the organization if you don't know the right people. Some managers do play favorites. Your experience as a whole is dependent on the team you are assigned to and the management style of your superiors. The compensation also isn't very competitive after a few years with the company; new joiners will be paid at a higher rate than you.

Advice to Management

Offer more opportunities for cross-training and movement within the organization. You lose many high achievers to companies offering opportunities that were simply a matter of a role change internally.
