Sometimes, because of too much hierarchy and defined processes, the reason for such mechanisms gets defeated and is discouraging to the employee. Variable pay differences are high.
The management should try to make the reporting structure more flat so that it does not hinder employee morale.
Also, the fixed pay component should increase.
