Pros

If you get on a good project, then you have chances for on-site.

Cons

Some suggestions for joiners:

  1. Don't join as a contractor. They won't give you a salary hike, and they will most probably sustain you for more than a year with the same salary package you were getting.

  2. Don't join if coming from a small company. Accenture does not value your past experience, even though you might have worked hard. They will reduce your experience.

  3. Variable salary: Whatever the variable salary is, you won't get the complete variable pay for sure. If the company is not performing well, the variable pay will be affected. It might go down to 2%.

  4. HR tactic: They will try to enroll you in Accenture without a salary hike for at least 8-9 months.

  5. Personal growth: All depends on your rating. To get a good rating, it depends on a good project (i.e., a client project), and you have to spend a year on the same project. If not, it is going to hurt you at your annual review, and you might not get a salary hike and promotion.

  6. Promotion: Accenture does not really consider what you did in past experience. They only count what you did in the past year within Accenture. Henceforth, even though you have 6 years of experience and got the lowest rating, you won't get a promotion.

Even if you want to join, go through the below suggestions:

  1. Ask them about in-hand salary because they have a lot of variable salary percentage.

  2. Ask them about how much experience they will count. Strictly ask them to tell you in "total years" context.

  3. Ask them about salary hikes and salary reviews.

Advice to Management

I think they cannot do anything.

They all follow Accenture policy for promotion and salary hike.
