One good advantage is that you get lots of training budget and resources for you to learn and grow. All you need is time to learn things.
Not everyone gets an opportunity to work in the project/technology that you desire.
You get a chance to jump into another project within the same organization. Very few times you'll have a choice to decide.
Not a significant hike every year. Promotions are hopeless.
