Pros

Global, recognizable brand that looks great on a resume. Loyalty (i.e. lasting longer than a couple years) is rewarded via compensation and responsibility. Opportunity to work in a variety of industries for some of the biggest and most recognizable companies in the world.

If you are in the consulting practice, you can find opportunities to travel the world on the company's dime. Good salary & benefits. Travel perks. Interesting people. Work from home flexibility.

Cons

High turnover means you will have very few colleagues that last throughout your tenure. Accenture is huge, which means you have to deal with lots of corporate red tape.

Lack of community feeling, particularly if you are traveling frequently. Every project will have different clients and coworkers, and sometimes you get stuck with bad one(s).

People are expected to take on additional "extra credit" responsibilities beyond their client work, which means working late and sometimes weekends. Project-based work creates a high-stress environment.
