You can choose your career path: to become a team leader or a subject matter expert.
The salary ranges are based on levels. For example, level 12 is the lower one in Romania. After an evaluation and based on the company's needs, at some point, you can be promoted to the next level, 11.
For me, it took almost 3 years to be promoted, and the salary difference between level 12 and level 11 was small (20%).
