I applied for a Senior Frontend Developer role at Adobe Express, and to my surprise, I was never evaluated well on the frontend domain. Almost all the rounds focused on Data Structures, with a bit of system design.
All the interviewers were backend developers with no or limited frontend knowledge.
The last round was conducted by a senior individual who expected perfect running code on a notepad.
Adobe should streamline its interview process and ensure it follows a standard to better evaluate candidates. All five rounds on Data Structures don't make much sense when hiring a React developer. There should also be JavaScript problem-solving and machine coding/browser coding rounds.
Additionally, train your interviewers. They should be conducting interviews to hire people, not to reject them based on trivial typos.
It was a really bad experience.
