Site Reliability Engineer Interview Experience - Bucharest, Romania

Process

I was contacted by HR to schedule a first talk with the manager. The manager wanted to hear about me and told me about the technologies used within the team. He mentioned that HR would call me the following week.

After two weeks without a call, I was finally contacted by HR to schedule a technical interview. The technical interview was not technical at all, with only one technical question (about 10 minutes of the total 60 minutes) and multiple behavioral interview-like questions.

The following month, I tried contacting HR for a status update on the recruitment process. I received very vague responses or no responses at all, only to be told at the end that the position had been filled in the meantime.

Overall, the process was very unpleasant and long. The HR was very unresponsive, but as a plus, everyone was nice.
