I was applying to Adobe through referrals, but I was getting no answers in 2021. A friend of mine applied, got into the interview process, and told them about me. I had two technical interviews and one HR + Manager interview.
On the first interview:
General computer science knowledge was tested, covering Java, Linux, OOP, threads, data structures, and functional programming. It was a quite nice experience.
On the second one:
This interview was weirder; they asked me to rate my Java and Kotlin skills. I was given a design question: how to sort the lines of a file too big to be entirely loaded into memory (you would try here with divide et impera and merging). I also had a data structures problem, which I had to solve in Google Docs without IntelliJ (uhm, why?).
The final interview:
I was left with a bad taste because they asked me for the name of the colleague I liked the least to work with, and I refused to provide any names.
