The process was smooth. I applied through a referral and went through 3-4 rounds of interviews, which all went smoothly. The last round was a JavaScript round, which was supposed to be my tech stack. However, the interview was conducted in TypeScript. I mentioned that it's not my skill and I couldn't complete the coding in TypeScript, but the interviewer insisted I only knew TypeScript and had to complete it in that language. I was rejected after this round because I couldn't complete the coding smoothly. It felt like a waste of time, and the interviewers were unprofessional.
Complete a coding question in TypeScript, even when the interview round and job role are for JavaScript, not TypeScript.
