Standard recruiter call. The process was non-standard, as I had to solve a take-home problem and return it in a week, as opposed to an hour of a pair programming exercise.
The recruiter was very pleasant until I submitted my solution after spending two full days on it. I have received no reply since, despite sending four follow-up emails. This is extremely unprofessional, idiotic, and a complete waste of my time.
I will personally ensure that none of my friends interview with this company again. There are many other options in Silicon Valley, and a company that does not treat its interviewees well likely does not treat its employees well.
