You'll have to spend at least half of your time and resources advocating for your importance. This is nonsense, but that's how it works at Adobe. If you want to make a career, you don't actually need to work; just talk louder, and it will be appreciated and rewarded with seven figures. If you are a talented tech introvert, such people will ride you to burnout and then replace you with fresh blood.
