Standard Adobe 5-step process:

• Recruiter screening: Recruiters are contracted and not Adobe employees. Very impersonal and slightly unprofessional.
• Hiring manager: Remote Teams call. Standard questions. Personable.
• Tech interview: Remote Teams call. Standard questions. Personable.
• Sales manager: Remote Teams call. Standard questions. Personable.
• Panel presentation: In person at the Tysons Corner office. Given a deck with a scenario to put together a presentation for a role play. It was a heavy lift and went fairly well, I thought. The hiring manager had flown to DC from Seattle, so it seemed like a very positive indication. I finished and had a nice chat with the hiring manager before leaving.

Four days later, I received a 3-line email from the recruiter stating that the feedback from the panel interview was not positive and they were not moving forward with my application. Just that, nothing more.

I sent an email to the hiring manager and lead SA to say thanks for the opportunity and to ask if they would be willing to provide a little feedback or constructive criticism. No response from either, after they had been very friendly and helpful throughout the interview process. Just rude and unprofessional. I would like to know where it went badly so I can improve for future interviews, but clearly, they couldn't care less.
