Take-home test (timed 4 hours)
Pair programming #1 (1 hour): Very difficult to follow due to communication issues. The candidate was not clear on the problem.
Pair programming #2 (1 hour): The interviewer was extremely cocky. They bragged about open-source contributions and were demeaning when I solved the problem quickly and optimized it. It felt like they were intimidated and let me know it. An extreme waste of time. I dodged a bullet, as both pair programming interviews were with teammates. I definitely do not want to be on that team.
