Sr. Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Jose, California

Process

The interview process was like any other:

  • Recruiter screen
  • Technical screen
  • Round of five technical interviews

Everything was smooth, and all the interviewers were very friendly and professional.

HOWEVER, nobody ever reached back to me after the interviews were finished. I emailed the two recruiters multiple times over one month, and I never received a reply or any message, neither from them nor anyone else at Adobe. It's as if they disappeared from the Earth.

I don't know what happened. I know that recruiters can be very disinterested and indifferent once they know you've been rejected, but even in the worst interviews, I've never been left out in the dark just like that. This is very confusing because Adobe has such a good reputation.

It's truly a shame; I was super excited to join had I been accepted. I admit that I didn't ace all the interviews, but in general, I felt they all went well. I connected with the team, and my experience and skills had a good affinity with their needs.
