Adobe is not the same in all orgs in terms of employee satisfaction. So I have listed down some cons of Adobe INDIA.
- Salary increment is low. Even if you joined at a low compensation, you will desire to switch to obtain a comfortable package.
- No technical growth in role. You will lose your tech skills after working for more than a year in this role.
- Management: Managers consider themselves gods and individual contributors as slaves. Adobe, in turn, pampers managers and showers them with RSUs while ICs get peanuts. Entry-level and mid-career ICs would feel like second-class citizens.
- Reporting managers apply force to make you dance to their tunes.
- Differences with your manager can seriously affect your work-life balance.
- Managers are reluctant to approve when an employee wants to pursue their desired technical training.
- Managers' decisions are not at all aligned with their global counterparts.
