Manager is everything, lack of transparency.
Some managers are really bad and they don't treat you well.
No competitor in the NCR area like Microsoft, Google, etc., so management takes advantage of that in giving you appraisals as you don't have a place to go in NCR.
The manager is not always right, so be transparent in the review process.
