Pros
  1. Excellent work culture.
  2. Great facilities.
  3. Work-life balance.
  4. Lots of extracurricular activities.
  5. Flexible timings.
  6. Great place to work for developers.
Cons
  1. Pathetic culture for testing profiles.

  2. Lots of discrimination between QE (testing profile) and developers.

  3. They hire employees by telling them to join as White Box Testers, but later they give complete Black Box work, which is only repetitive manual testing work.

  4. QE managers are pathetic. They say you are exceeding expectations, but then they play politics and screw you in your appraisals.

  5. Moving from testing to dev internally is next to impossible. Although a few people made it, so it's not impossible, it is very difficult.

Advice to Management

Please do not hire employees for testing by telling them it's a white-box testing job.

Specify the role clearly during the hiring process.

Also, if you say that your ratings are exceeding expectations, then it should be visible in appraisal letters as well (especially for the testing role).
