Fun, but a little unreasonable in its demands
Good brand, fun products.
Lots of old-timers with long company knowledge.
Decent pay.
Very stable profit stream.
Made a real attempt at ditching the old ways of making software.
Lots of early meetings. Engineering is spread over many countries, including India, and there isn't a good separation of ownership.
Senior management is very unreasonable, not understanding what good development takes. They can't remain focused and constantly shift resources around.
Good contractors are let go too easily instead of being converted to full-time.
On the other hand, it's hard to fire poor-performing FTEs.
Separate India development from US. Make hiring and firing easier.
