Process

  1. 30-minute Zoom interview with two Java developers. We discussed my motivation to join Adyen, what it would be like to relocate to Amsterdam, and also my role in my current company.

  2. 2-hour Codility test: two Java tasks and one SQL task, all simple coding challenges to be solved on the Codility platform.

  3. 1-hour technical Zoom interview: Half of the time we spent discussing how I solved the tasks in Codility; the other half we discussed my experience and challenges that I've solved so far.

  4. 30-minute interview with the Head of Development: Asked me about my motivation to move to Amsterdam and also to join Adyen.

  5. Final round of interviews: I flew to Amsterdam to have a final round of interviews. Adyen provided me with a flight ticket and accommodation. I had lunch at their office, and then there were two interviews with senior developers and one last interview with the CTO.
