Affinity approached me on LinkedIn.

After a brief conversation, they scheduled four more rounds of interviews for me:

An introductory interview
An architecture interview
A technical/coding interview
A final interview about management

I found the technical interview relatively easy and thought I performed well. In total, it took approximately four hours to complete all the rounds.

I was disappointed that they didn't even have the courtesy to provide a brief explanation for their decision to go with another candidate.

What are the architectures that you are familiar with?

Write a method that does some sort of grouping (don't remember the details).

Given some mocks, explain how would you design the APIs.

Cons: As the company and engineering team have scaled, cross-team communication can be challenging at times. Managing cross-cutting concerns that affect multiple teams requires significant coordination, which can occasionally slow down development velocity. It's a natural challenge for any organization, and it's good to see steps being taken in the right direction.
