The interview process involved a chat with a recruiter, followed by a meeting with a talent acquisition manager, and then coding challenges.

I completed the first coding challenge and did not find it difficult.

Ultimately, they decided not to move forward, citing that my personality "did not fit" with their desired tech lead profile, or something to that effect.

Managing cross-cutting concerns that affect multiple teams requires significant coordination, which can occasionally slow down development velocity. It's a natural challenge for any organization, and its good to see steps being taken in the right direction.
