I got the call the day I applied for the job.
The recruiter told me this position might not be a right fit for you, but there is something else which you are perfect for. He asked me to apply for that position.
He scheduled the interview for the very next day, as I wanted to move fast.
1st was a telephonic interview. The interviewer asked basic questions about my profile, what I do in my current position, roles, and responsibilities, etc. Then he gave information about the position. I asked a bunch of questions to him since it seemed lower than my current role.
Then, the same day, the recruiter updated me to come in for an onsite interview.
I went for the onsite interview two days later.
1st round: A technical round focused on job-specific questions. 2nd round: A culture fit interview. They like to know what kind of person you are, if you would be a good fit with Airbnb, and what kind of role you play in society. 3rd round: A technical round focused on job-specific questions. 4th round: A culture fit interview with the same questions. 5th round: HR.
Two days later, they presented the offer. I negotiated. They only do one round of negotiation. After that, you accept or deny.
