Software Engineer (Backend) Interview Experience

Process

The interview process consists of one phone screen, followed by a day of on-site interviews.

The phone screen question was difficult; however, I could solve it systematically. It was a dynamic programming (DP) problem with a use case for Airbnb.

I found their on-site interviews to be increasingly difficult as the day progressed. They make you write real code on a PC, which, in my opinion, is too little time given the complexity of the problems they ask. These usually involve advanced DP and graph problems.
