Process

I encountered a medium/hard HackerRank question. After solving it, I received a request for a "virtual onsite" interview within a couple of days.

The virtual onsite consisted of two technical phone interviews. The questions were moderately challenging, neither too easy nor overly difficult. The primary challenge was completing both the main question and any follow-up within the 45-minute time limit.

Within a few days, I received news about an in-person onsite interview. This onsite comprised three interviews: two behavioral (also referred to as "cross-functional") and one technical. The technical interview presented the most challenging questions I had faced thus far. The cross-functional interviews were also demanding; the interviewers will press for greater clarity if you provide vague answers. Do not assume you can simply talk your way around the questions.

I received an offer about a week later. The recruiting staff were consistently transparent and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience.
