Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

May 1, 2016
Positive ExperienceGot Offer

Process

Two rounds of phone interviews. Code needs to be compiled and run against some fair test cases. You need to get it running with none, or at least minimal, mistakes in the given time.

Onsite: Technical interview plus two rounds of culture fit interviews, seven interviews in total. The people who interviewed me were extremely nice, and the coordinators also did a good job of showing me around the nice office building and providing an introduction to Airbnb's history.

Questions

Technical questions are mid-difficult. Do enough coding to make sure you feel comfortable coding in front of the interviewee. Bring your own laptop if you prefer.

Culture fit: Share one of your trips with us.
