The interview process consisted of live coding across four rounds.
There were two separate 45-minute rounds, followed by a final two-hour round. This final round included two 45-minute interviews back-to-back.
They contacted me and expected me to be ready within a couple of days. They were inflexible with interview scheduling, expecting me to be available on command.
After reaching the final round, I was rejected without any explanation.
This is a perfect example of how larger companies' interview processes favor candidates who don't have work or school commitments and come from elite institutions. I was working and attending school. Despite knowing this, they showed no flexibility.
Each interview was scheduled only a couple of days apart, which did not give me enough time to recuperate or study.
I felt I had strong interviews in all four rounds, yet they rejected me without providing a reason after weeks of sacrifice.
This experience is not worth the toll on your mental health.
