Process
They presented me with an interesting problem that related to the problems the firm attempts to solve. It was really challenging but also fun to tackle. I would say the hardest part of the challenge was that I ran out of time.
Questions
Basically, I wanted to figure out how to sort listings that Airbnb presents to their customers on their site, with some constraints.

Great place to work
Software Engineer • Current Employee
San Francisco, California, United States
November 4, 2014
Pros: I've worked at other places, but Airbnb is hands-down amazing to work at. Some of my best friends I've made at Airbnb, and it's always fun to come in to work.
Our core values help to really allow you to work with people that you like being around. Additionally, everyone really believes in the mission of the company and wants to make a difference, so you never feel like a cog in some larger machine.
Overall, a great place to work.
Cons: It's a growing company, so there will be some growing pains (like communication channels) as the company gets larger.
