Management desperate to disrupt
Great team. Very smart and talented people. Individual and team autonomy.
A new manager with very little tech experience was brought in to disrupt. Airbnb upper management doesn't understand disruption.
Liking and respecting your manager and being able to talk through technology and process is very important. Putting an unqualified person in management is not disruption. It's just dumb.
