I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ months.
The interview with developers was nice. Just talking about technologies. The technical at-home task was fine, took some time to polish it, but got a nice review back. The cultural fit interview took a while to book. It was supposed to be a two-step call with a team lead and CTO. Technical interviews were happening with the local office, while the cultural fit was supposed to be from the main Chinese office. I did not expect that team lead would make me do any more technical tasks and got nervous about the pressure. They ghosted me after the first one, not even replying to the emails. The whole process took 18 weeks.
