Lead Software Development Engineer In Test Interview Experience - India

Process

The interviewers are not technical; they ask questions like, "Which Selenium build number do you use? How does that matter at all?"

It looks like they think the whole world fakes on the CV, stating that they have worked on Selenium.

The process is so cumbersome, and the people they send in have no information to give back and are rude.

They ask questions only on Linux, albeit the position is for an SDET. If they want a Linux guy, why don't they hire a Linux administrator?

I doubt they conduct any training for the hiring panel members before they tell them to interview and lose valuable programmers just because they do not know what a Samba server is and the build number of Selenium they use.

Questions

What is the build number of Selenium you use?
