The process took 3 months.
First, I was contacted by HR, and then there was no response for a few weeks. Then HR, out of the blue, came back and said the Hiring Manager would like to interview me. The Hiring Manager was good and asked questions related to the job profile. Then I was sent to a panel interview. I had a good experience. My interview went really well.
After that, there was total silence from HR. I sent a few follow-up emails after the interview, but HR did not even care to respond back.
Finally, after so many weeks, the person who referred me requested HR to update me with the status of my application. After that, HR sent an email notification that I was not selected.
The entire process took 3 months. I feel like after putting in so much effort and hope, my time was wasted. My entire experience would have been better if I had been informed within 1-2 weeks of the interview that I was not selected and did not have to push HR to update me with the interview results.
