Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) Interview Experience - Toronto, Ontario

Positive ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The hiring process is a bit long, but from a candidate's point of view, it's a great learning process. First, HR schedules a phone call for screening purposes and asks mostly about current experience and about the company.

The next round will be 30 minutes with the hiring manager. It will mostly focus on behavioral-based questions and 4-5 basic technical questions.

Then, in the final round, you will have two technical rounds of 1 hour each with two different Senior Developers, and 1 hour of behavioral rounds with the hiring manager, mostly asking about Software Engineering fundamentals.

Also, the technical round was initially a mix of situation-based questions and basic DSA.

It's not that hard. Good luck!

Questions

Basic DSA, situation-based questions, some Linux command questions, and use case-related questions.
