Growth has HQ sprawling all over Kendall Square, scattered among many buildings. Lots of legacy code and "not invented here" syndrome over the 15+ years means mucking through tons of hidebound code, tools, processes, etc. There is definitely a fear of cutting over or "letting go", since the lack of available information and oral history makes it difficult to know what can be discarded and what must be retained.
