Ally Financial Interview Experiences
Software Engineer Intern
It was a very casual on-site interview (they don't usually do on-site, but I got it from a job fair). It felt more like getting to know your vibe than technical, though you don't want to lie on your resume.
SWE Intern
It was pretty chill. They asked very basic questions about my resume and what I was doing in my projects. That's about it. It lasted like 20-30 minutes. You can also have multiple interviews, so it's dependent on your manager (your interviewer).
Software Engineer
Web video interview with question prompts. About 9 questions, and 1-2 minute video responses for each. Simple questions, and you can retake your response once if you messed up during it.
