Total 8 rounds.
All rounds consisted of questions from one or many of the following:
- SQL
- Python
- Data warehousing
- Data modelling
- Database concepts
- Basics of Spark
- Leadership principles
- Metric design
Each round was approximately 1 hour and took place via VC. Results were announced within a week.
Questions
- SQL problems you can find on LeetCode.
- Python Data Manipulation problems, mostly Easy to Medium LeetCode.
- Data Modelling: I was asked to design Myntra (an online clothing store).
- AWS Data Stack: Based on my projects, I had to design and explain my pipelines.
- Leadership Principles: Every round had 2 of them.

Pros: I have so far had a wonderful experience working for Amazon.
This is my first full-time job after many years of contracting, and I feel that Amazon has all the resources in place to develop yourself and shine.
Work-life balance is not as bad as it is said, and I feel like I have learned a lot of new things in my short tenure here.
Cons: A lot of meetings sometimes can hinder the workflow.
