Pros: Fast-paced environment. Diversity of industries to work in.

Cons: Compensation can be low. The stock price has a 15% baked-in increase.

Pros: WLB is better than AWS.

Cons: Lesser stocks than in AWS.

Pros: I had a fairly positive experience for the first 2 years. Then I ended up in a team where I got burned out. Overall, you're working with smart people and interesting projects.

Cons: The pay structure is nonsense. Amazon's stock went up for years, and even though the majority of your compensation is in stock, it didn't really matter because the stock kept going up. However, when times got tough, they did nothing to bring people up to their promised salary. Also, when the stock went up before my promotion, I did not see an increase because the stock had appreciated to a level where my projected compensation for the following year was close to the bottom end of the next level's band. Therefore, I got nothing for the promotion. It was difficult to stay after that. Basically, Amazon takes no responsibility to make employees whole when the stock goes down, but will gladly factor the stock increase into your next pay raise. It's BS.
