The hiring manager was very nice. Initially, I was approached for a different role, but I mentioned my interests and skillset in Data Engineering to the interviewer. She was very considerate and redirected me to the relevant team. There were five rounds of interviews:
- Coding
- System Design
- Hiring Manager round
- Bar Raiser
In the last few months, there have been a lot of layoffs at Amazon. However, overall, my team, manager, and the learning curve in the company are very good. These recent layoffs have spoilt the company culture.
