Amazon Work Experiences
- 2.0Started out great, ended up not so greatML Data Associate • Former EmployeeBoston, Massachusetts, United StatesJanuary 8, 2024Pros: Some of the people you work with there are great. Some of the managers are personable.Cons: You are at the bottom of the feeding chain. You WILL be micromanaged. You WILL be monitored and controlled a lot. They will make new, mundane policies to make your position miserable. These decisions make no real impact on the work you do, but only to make your life more difficult. Example: WFH during the pandemic was great. As soon as the pandemic was "over," they wanted people back in the office with NO option to stay remote. Why? It worked for two years; why not give your employees the option?
- 5.0Great internship for a careerSoftware Engineer(Internship) • Former EmployeeBoston, Massachusetts, United StatesApril 12, 2023Pros: The pay was great, and the office location was solid.Cons: No one was in the office, so it was kind of lonely.
- 3.0Smart Team, No Good IncentivesSDE 3 • Current EmployeeBoston, Massachusetts, United StatesSeptember 2, 2025Pros: Good technical environment, great smart colleagues.Cons: Not very good at giving incentives to stay.
