Process

I received a link to take an OA. The test includes two parts:

Technical: with 2 LeetCode-style questions on the HackerRank platform.
Workstyle assessment: a behavioral test aimed at putting you in concrete work situations and seeing if you are aligned with Amazon's leadership principles.

I did not appreciate the fact that there was no feedback after taking the online test.

Pros: I am in awe of my work at Amazon. My team here fully supports me, and the culture here feels inclusive. From my first three months, I was able to build strong connections with my manager and fellow teammates. The people that I currently work with are way too smart, but I am learning as I go.

Cons: Amazon's development process is a bit tricky to understand at first. There are a lot of services, and they are still working towards building a solid architecture.

Pros: It's always a good experience to see how things work inside Amazon, a valuable experience for sure.

Cons: Fresh managers and unexperienced buddies might not support you as much as you need if you are unlucky to get matched with one of them. I have worked with both of them at the same time. I changed 4 managers in 6 months, as I was joined to a low-performance team.
