A recruiter reached out to discuss my background, experience, and interest in the role.

  • Basic questions about my resume, projects, and preferred location.

Online Assessment/Test (Round 2)

  • A timed coding test consisting of two data structures & algorithm problems.
  • Topics included arrays, strings, trees, graphs, and dynamic programming.
  • A work simulation assessment to evaluate problem-solving in real-world scenarios.

Technical Interview (Round 3)

  • Conducted by a software engineer from the team.
  • Focused on system design fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Some behavioral questions related to Amazon’s Leadership Principles (LPs).

Coding & Leadership Principles (Round 4)

  • A mix of DSA questions and behavioral questions.
  • One medium-hard Leetcode-style problem.
  • LP questions related to ownership, problem-solving, and handling ambiguity.

Coding & Leadership Principles (Round 5)

  • Another technical coding round with a software engineer.
  • One hard-level DSA question, focusing on optimization.
  • More LP-based questions assessing collaboration and decision-making.

Coding & Leadership Principles (Round 6)

  • Similar format: One algorithm-heavy problem.
