Process
I had an interview for an SDE-2 (L5) position for Amazon Stores. It was an org-wide hiring event.
The interview consisted of 4 rounds, each lasting 1 hour. Each round included 30 minutes of Leadership Principles and 30 minutes of coding.
The first 2 rounds focused on LeetCode-style questions. The third round covered low-level design and object-oriented design. The fourth round was dedicated to high-level system design.
Questions
I cannot give the exact questions, but the topics covered were Graphs, Hashmaps, and Backtracking. High-level system design was related to inventory management.
