Process
A recruiter called me and informed me that a position in my preferred location might not be available. However, they could let me know if I made the interview cut.
To qualify for the interview, I would need to dedicate nearly eight hours:
- One hour for an online practice exam
- Two and a half hours for the online exam
- Up to one hour for a follow-up
- Four hours for an in-person interview
I did not have the time to devote an entire workday to a job that might not even exist, and it didn't seem fair to ask me to do so.

Pros: The interview process wasn't that bad. The questions were on the milder side of difficulty.
Cons: Interview process was very robotic. It was a little difficult getting a hold of someone in the beginning.

Great Internship Experience

Pros: Manager, mentor, and onboarding buddy offered solid support throughout the internship.
Team members are very nice and always available for help whenever I reach out to them.
The team working environment is very nice and chill. I had a chance to join a fun team event.
The internship project is well-scoped and is a very helpful experience in terms of career development. I get to learn a lot of new skills such as Java, CloudFormation, BuilderTools and get used to different AWS resources such as API GW, DynamoDB, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
Cons: My internship experience has been smooth and enjoyable. Nothing to say for cons.
