Process
A process with many steps. You do not receive feedback on the assignments you complete, while they monitor everything. And even at step 5, you will still not have spoken to a human. Very impersonal therefore.

Great Place To Work
Software Engineer Intern • Former Employee
Seattle, Washington, United States
August 25, 2024
Pros: There are lots of places to grow since Amazon is a huge company. The hybrid 3-day in-office-per-week policy is nice because of the flexibility to work at a different location or at home within the week.
Cons: If you choose to get internally promoted at Amazon, you will likely be given the bottom 50th percentile salary for the new job position, since Amazon gives upper-salary preference to external hires.
