Process

I applied online and was sent an assessment. The questions were LC medium-hard level questions and a bunch of behavioral questions. Nothing too difficult.

I was invited to a virtual onsite shortly after. The recruiter scheduled some time to discuss what to expect in the onsite. The LP questions weren't really that bad; I just needed to spend time reviewing past experience and ensure I answered questions using the STAR method. If I didn't, they would ask follow-ups.

I didn't really like the recruiter. They kept telling me I needed to be able to solve hard coding problems in less than 30 minutes. I'm not a competitive programmer and never was. The interview questions were definitely not as hard as they made them out to be, but that could have been due to luck. It was also odd that they asked if I wanted the interview questions before the interview itself, seeming desperate to get a new hire.

Onsite was pretty standard, except there were 2-3 behavioral questions at the start of each interview, followed by about 30 minutes for the technical portion. I didn't get a sense of what it would be like to work there, and the people I spoke to didn't seem like individuals I'd want to work with.

In the end, they gave a really low offer, which I declined without hesitation. I definitely would not want to work with the manager I met with either; it was a complete waste of time. There are much better companies out there than the pipfactory.
