Process
First, an online assessment, followed by a technical interview on a call. The questions were a bit too quick; I usually prefer to have more time to think. There was nothing specific, just general computer science knowledge, databases, Docker, and networking.

AWS Mexico, a great company
Solutions Architect Intern • Current Employee
Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico City, Mexico

Pros: Remote work is allowed. They paid you to learn new skills and offered good benefits. You have a mentor and an onboarding buddy who are willing to help. You need to be proactive if you want to feel included.
Cons: There are too many culture trainings; those block the way for technical training.

Wonderful place to intern at
Solutions Architect Intern • Former Employee

Pros: Everyone replies very quickly to messages/emails. I was very included in team meetings, and interns were given meaningful projects to work on. Interns get access to all of the training resources of full-time Amazonians, so I was able to learn about many fields outside of the one I worked in.
Cons: There are so many teams at Amazon that the environment definitely varies from team to team.

Cons: Nothing. The only thing could be more benefits in the office.
