Process

I was referred, so a recruiter reached out and set up a phone call.

It was a quick and easy interview about my general background and an overview of the role.

Next, I went through a phone screen with the location leader.

He actually talked more than I did, explaining Amazon's work process, team setup, and other important aspects in great detail.

He asked just a few behavioral questions, and we were good.

Finally, I was asked to go through a second phone screen. (While usually, it's the Loop thing already, along with the second assignment, it seems they had some reservations).

The second interviewer was a bit unfriendly, and I was kind of lost in my responses sometimes. I also completely ditched the system design question, which came unexpectedly.

Questions

Describe a situation when you had to change course quickly and drastically.
